Product SKU:71310-02
Revision Date:2025-03-12

Product Overview

Description

SmartScript™ Weeds detects and characterizes weeds delivering a herbicide spray prescription and field report within 24 hours of image data capture. Additionally, Stand Count with Uniformity is provided at sampled locations across a field to deliver a Spot Scout layer that measures early season crop performance including measurements of stand count and related uniformity measurements. Specific deliverables for stand counts are crop and growth stage dependent. This product utilizes directly georeferenced maps derived from high-resolution RGB imagery captured across an entire field.

Environmental Conditions

Lighting
Imagery should be captured between the time of 2 hours after sunrise and 2 hours before sunset. Consistent lighting conditions required for best results, including avoidance of hard shadows cast over the field which cause bright spots and dark spots in the dataset.
Wind
Wind conditions should be within the specified limits of the aircraft or system being used to carry the imaging sensor.
Precipitation
There should be no active precipitation during imagery capture.

SmartScript™ Targeted Spray Prescription (84010-01)

Description

A layer where the location of individual weeds or groups of weeds are bounded with zones appropriately sized for intended spray equipment and can be used as a prescription to deliver a targeted spray herbicide application. Weed detection is designed for weeds with height greater than or equal to 0.25 inch (0.6 cm).

DeliverableFormatDescription
Targeted Spray PrescriptionGeoTiff Targeted spray herbicide application prescription file and visualiztion layer. The ZIP file can be unzipped and the four files (.shp, .shx, .dbf, .prj) can be copied to the sprayer monitor to execute the prescription. The GeoTiff file can be viewed in FieldAgent.
Side-by-Side Targeted Spray PrescriptionGeoTiff Side-by-side targeted spray herbicide application prescription file and visualiztion layer, where one half of the field is assigned a targeted spray prescription and the other half of the field is assigned a broadcast prescription. This deliverable is intended for use in field trials to evaluate weed control efficacy of SmartScript™ Weeds targeted spray herbicide application compared to broadcast herbicide application. The ZIP file can be unzipped and the four files (.shp, .shx, .dbf, .prj) can be copied to the sprayer monitor to execute the prescription. The GeoTiff file can be viewed in FieldAgent.
