Requirements

General Requirements

• Requires "In-Network Location"
• Requires legal authorization to fly the requested field location
• Requires 2-weeks’ scheduling notice, unless in-season which will require more lead time or be unavailable
• Requires large screen/projection HDMI capability and broadband internet access for PHX In Person Training (71011-00) and/or Quad Copter In Person Training (71011-03)
• Requires field a suitable launch and recovery area and free of large obstacles nearby for PHX In Person Training (71011-00)
• Requires applicable UAS Training Travel Charge (71011-02) for PHX In Person Training (71011-00) and/or Quad Copter In Person Training (71011-03)

In-Network Location

Sentera maintains a global network of pilot trainers certified to capture data at agricultural fields for Sentera’s analytic data products. The field locations for each project are required to be within the Sentera Flight Services network coverage area. A map of the Sentera Flight Services network for a project’s region of interest is available upon request.

PHX Training Syllabus

This training is broken into five main parts: (1) self-study topics to familiarize yourself with PHX, (2) a zoom session to prepare you for your field day, (3) in-person flight training during a planned field day event, (4) a zoom session to answer questions from the field day and go over follow-up items to include recurrency recommendations, and (5) final self-study topics centered around maintenance.

Quad Copter Training Syllabus

Ideally, a half-day in a classroom setting to cover FieldAgent end-to-end access, field boundary creation, data collection, image import, and analytics ordering, then followed by a half-day in the field to ensure proficiency of data collection.

PHX In Person Training (71011-00)
